The Sino-Hellenic Performing Arts Alliance Youth Drama Club is proud to announce its upcoming production of the ancient Greek tragedy “ELECTRA”, set to premiere at 7:00 PM on December 14th at the historic Trianon Theater in Athens.
As part of the 2024-2025 Sino-Hellenic International Theater Festival, this performance not only pays homage to the birthplace of theater but also highlights the talent and creativity of Chinese youth in Greece. By reinterpreting this timeless masterpiece, the young performers aim to bridge cultures and breathe new life into one of the greatest works of ancient Greek drama.
The debut promises to be a significant cultural event, celebrating the intersection of Chinese and Greek theatrical traditions on Greek soil, the cradle of drama itself.
